Table made from hand cast concrete with bespoke glass insets.
Measures 1200 x 490 mm
The glass sequence is reverse cast in to the concrete to give a contrasting effect of colour versus the dark grey. Artist's intention was to make something that is both practical and beautiful. She wanted to further explore the relationship between the two materials, as she enjoys the glossy rich surface of the coloured glass with the dry matt finish of the concrete.
The entire table is hand made, the mould, the casting, the glass and the welded table base, which has then been powder coated.
